Epiphany 1, the Baptism of Christ

Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. Mark 1:10

In our service this morning we renew our baptismal vows as we think about Jesus' baptism at the river Jordan where the Holy Spirit fell from heaven upon him.
